Why a gas-scooter ?

This should normally be your first question when seeing a gas-scooter for the first time.
Apart from the fun factor they are to ride, they are somewhat an evolutionary way to get from point A to B - faster, farther and cleaner than ever before. These cost and energy efficient vehicles are cool, lightweight and portable and the perfect alternative for short trips, local commutes and a variety of sporting and recreational activities.

Most cities are now getting crowded by traffic jams and transportation still remains a major problem. While the underground is a proper solution in the cities having one for commuting over 5 kilometres, there is still an insolvable problem under this limit, as walking takes long time, and as riding a bicycle has inherent disadvantage due to the size of a bicycle (which makes it hard to store in a flat or the entrance of a house) and as it a physical effort that can sometime be tough, thus leaving you exhausted one you arrive at home.
To resolve such issues, most big cities have recently been building tramways in their centre, enforcing tougher laws against cars, or setting up large bus networks, but this has only created an even greater congestion as the system is not very convenient. Another solution proposed has been the Segway, which is a great vehicle for such purpose, but still at an unaffordable price (around 5000 euros) for most of the population.
Moreover there has been recently a surge in the sales of small stand-up electric scooter in United Kingdom, this make us believe that people would now be ready for a gas version.
This is where we see the gas scooter as a great alternative. Thanks to recent development, CARB certified 2-strokes
engines such as the Tanakas and 4 strokes such as the Robin-Fuji are now alternatives clean enough for commuting. Scooter could then be developed with the help of local authorities as a clean way to move around.
